Surface Condition
Concrete must be clean, sound and porous before application. Existing sealers, coatings, peeling material and other bond-breaking contaminants must be completely removed. Always test a small area first to confirm proper absorption and compatibility
Surface Prep
Clean thoroughly and lightly pre-moisten the concrete before application
Application Method
Apply the mixed wash across the surface and distribute with a clean soft bristle brush, or spray on.
During Application
Keep the mixture agitated periodically with a 10 in. Green Flagged Brush to help prevent pigment from settling in the container.
Foot Traffic Warning
Do not walk across drying or already-dry areas with wet footwear. Moisture from shoes can leave visible footprints or marks in the finished color.

Color Check & Cleanup
While EZ-Tique is still wet, the color will generally appear deeper and can provide a useful preview of how the antiquing may look once sealed. Final appearance will vary depending on the concrete, color concentration and sealer used. If the color is too heavy, uneven or not where you want it, adjust, redistribute or rinse it with clean water before it dries.
Cleanup
Clean tools and unwanted EZ-Tique with water while the material is still wet. Once dry, excess material can be more difficult to remove, so make color adjustments during application whenever possible.
Dry Before Sealing
Allow EZ-Tique and the concrete surface to dry completely before sealing. As a jobsite guideline, allow at least 24 hours in warm, dry conditions and plan on overnight drying in cooler or humid conditions
Climate Considerations
Cool temperatures, high humidity, shaded areas and limited airflow can extend drying time. Do not seal until the surface is completely dry
Compatible Sealer Options
A quality Proline sealer is recommended after EZ-Tique. For a natural, color-enhancing lower-gloss finish, consider Nature Shield. Dura-Seal options are also available where a glossy finish is preferred
