Congratulations to Our Photo Contest Winners

We here at Calico Construction Products were thrilled to launch our very first photo contest earlier in the year. The goal was to showcase our customers’ great projects and the entries we received were incredible!

Our contest winner is Urias Concrete out of Virginia! Jorge has been in the decorative concrete business for over seven years and he proudly serves the Northern Virginia, Washington D.C, and Maryland Metropolitan area. While he enjoys stamping, he truly loves working with the various stains and colors. For this pool deck, Jorge used Proline’s Random Stone and Compass Rose Medallion Stamps, as well as acid stain, color hardener, and powdered antique release. First place winner!

Our second place winner is Floor Seasons from Las Vegas, Nevada. Cary Grant has been mastering his craft for over twenty years. In 2001, he created Floor Seasons with Julie Grant, which gave him the opportunity to take concrete staining to the ultimate level utilizing multi-colors, artistic saw cuts, and innovative designs. It truly is “art you can walk on”. Along with staining and polished concrete, Floor Seasons has mastered epoxy floors and systems including epoxy flakes and metallic epoxies. For this interior floor, Cary used acid stain. Get to know Cary, his team, and their masterpieces!
